Rhodes Scholar at Safety

Okay, after years of hearing about how you only went to FSU if you couldn't get into Florida and how our athletes weren't student-athletes, I'd just like to ask "what are you gonna say to us now?". Florida State had their third Rhodes Scholar in the last four years named, second athlete and first football player. And yes, he played in the game on Saturday after interviews in Birmingham earlier in the day. Special dispensation from the NCAA for a private plan is wonderful. Myron Rolle is a starting safety (and possible first round pick) and his absence showed early in the game on Saturday, especially with the other starting safety injured. However, once he arrived, the defense settled down and we got the win we needed. Combined with Wake's loss to BC, we are a BC loss next weekend from the ACC Championship. However, before that I'd like our first victory against Florida in five years, and I think it's possible.
